With a career spanning over 30 years in the service of women’s health. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and specialized in Obstetrics-Gynecology during 1993–1997, he has built a practice based on deep knowledge, clinical experience and continuous commitment to professional improvement. Dr. Marku has attended a number of trainings and is certified by renowned international institutions, including:
• Fetal Medicine Foundation, London – Certification for 12–14 week ultrasound and combined trisomies test
• Cervicometry Certifications – Prediction of Preterm Birth and Risk of Eclampsia
• IOTA Certification – For screening ovarian tumors

During weeks 12–13 of pregnancy, ultrasound offers a detailed and safe approach to assessing the baby's development. With modern imaging technology, measurements of the nuchal translucency, nasal bone, ductus venosus, tricuspid valve and uterine arteries are performed, all certified by Fetal Medicine with the combined test.
Morphological Ultrasound (Week 18–22) + Color Doppler / Fluximetry
One of the most important check-ups during pregnancy. Morphological ultrasound analyzes every organ of the fetus, including the brain, heart, spine, and internal organs. Doppler measures blood flow in the fetal and placental arteries, assessing oxygenation and fetal development.
Cervicometry for the Prediction of Premature Birth
This examination measures the length of the cervix to identify the risk of premature birth, especially in women with a history of premature births. It is a non-invasive method and very important for taking preventive measures in time.
HD 3D/4D ultrasound
